Terms of Service.

The agreement between you and the body you’re joining.

Waymker exists to help the body of Christ gather, serve, and witness as one. These terms exist so that can happen safely and in good order. By creating an account, you agree to the terms below.

1. What Waymker is

Waymker is a free, ministry-operated platform — not a commercial product. It is organized into communities (“cells”) that mirror the structure of the church: national, state, city, neighborhood, and individual house churches, plus purpose-built groups like emergency-response teams.

2. Who can join

You must be able to form a genuine agreement to these terms to create an account. Accounts are for real people representing themselves, their family, ministry, or organization honestly — impersonation and fake accounts are not permitted.

3. Your content, your responsibility

You own what you post. By posting, you grant Waymker the license needed to store, display, and transmit it to the audience your cell settings allow (see our Privacy Policy for how content flows between communities). You are responsible for what you post and for having the right to post it. Do not post anything that is illegal, knowingly false in a way meant to deceive or harm, or that violates someone else’s privacy or safety.

4. Community conduct

Waymker is meant to reflect the character of Christ — this is not a platform for harassment, hate, exploitation, spam, or content designed to deceive or divide the body. Community leaders (moderators, elders, admins) may remove content, suspend, or in serious cases ban accounts that violate these terms. You can raise a concern about any content or member using the Report action found throughout the app — it goes straight to that community’s leaders.

5. Emergency-response features

Waymker includes tools for coordinating real-world mutual aid and disaster response, including live location sharing during an active check-in. These tools are provided to help neighbors help each other — they are not a substitute for calling 911 or official emergency services in a genuine life-threatening emergency.

6. Marketplace & mutual aid

The marketplace (beg / buy / barter / sell) connects members directly — Waymker is not a party to any transaction, does not handle payments, and does not guarantee the condition, safety, or delivery of any good or service exchanged between members. Exercise the same care you would with any in-person exchange with someone you don’t yet know well.

7. Account closure

You may request account closure at any time from Profile → Settings → Privacy & Security. Because closure can affect shared community content (ongoing prayer threads, mutual-aid conversations, tickets others are relying on), a real person reviews each request rather than an instant automated delete.

8. No warranty

Waymker is provided “as is.” As a ministry effort, we do our best to keep it running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the platform to the fullest extent the law allows.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform grows. Meaningful changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use Waymker after a change means you accept the updated terms.
